Course Description: This course provides 3-level training for graduates to perform duties prescribed in the Marine Enlisted Classification Directory for F02WAKI, Meteorological and Oceanographic Analyst Forecaster 1. Training includes instruction in meteorology, METAR observations, satellite, meteorological reports, chart analysis, and air mass sounding (Skew-T) analysis. It also includes training in macroscale, synoptic, mesoscale, and microscale analysis and forecasting in addition to weather radar.
