Course Description: This web-based,?Distance Learning?course provides training to personnel in 7-level upgrade training in the Air Traffic Control career field.? Topics covered include AOF Structure, Facility Operations, Training Programs, Crew Supervision, Quality Assurance, Emergency Procedures, and Wartime Air Traffic Control.? This course is taken at the trainee?s unit of assignment; no TDY is required.? An assigned facility trainer will counsel the trainee before starting the course.? Trainees have 2?months (ADAF) or 6 months (Guard) to complete the course, which includes passing an on-line End of Course (EOC) exam.? This course is open to all air traffic controllers, including civilians.
