Course Description: This course provides training for Department of Defense personnel in the knowledge and skills needed to perform the primary duties of a GCCS-J System Administrator. The scope of training includes RHEL system administration/management, Visual Editor, shell scripting, GCCS-J 6.0.0 integration theory, system startup procedures, network administration, file system management, Virtualization (VMware and QEMU-KVM), DNS/BIND configuration, implementing security procedures, and system maintenance procedures. This course is based on the current GCCS-J 6.0.0 software release.
