This course is designed to certify individual ability to analyze aviation and parachutist management policies and apply the appropriate action. This course gives Aviation Resource Managers assigned as the Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) Chief, Assistant HARM Chief, or NCOIC within the HARM, MAJCOM and Numbered AF a better overall view of aviation and parachutist management processes and their responsibilities to commanders at all levels. The emphasis of the course is to provide situational leadership and managerial experience to certify 1C0X2s for ARM management positions at Group, MAJCOM, and Air Staff levels. The instructions are scenario based providing hands-on application training to study real world problems and develop workable solutions. This course provides an overview in the following high impact areas: aircrew and parachutist management, aeronautical rating and badge process, Flight Evaluation Board procedures, ARMS management reports, flight and jump incentive pay management, aircraft mishap procedures and 1C0X2 management issues. Completion of this course is required for upgrade to the 9-skill level, AFSC 1C092 and award of the SEI 066.
