Course Description: The Advanced Weather Management Course consists of three parts and utilizes blended learning to provide SNCOs and CGOs with the skills necessary to successfully manage a Weather Operations Unit. Students completing the three-course sequence will obtain a thorough understanding of meteorological and oceanographic (METOC) doctrine, weather station operations, wartime requirements, processes to develop meteorological forecasting techniques and a thorough knowledge of wartime execution orders and staff weather briefing skills.
